Funding available to promote physical well-being in Whitley and Church wards

Get Berkshire Active is offering between £750 and £2000 to established organisations providing new physical activity and sport opportunities for inactive people living in deprived areas in Berkshire, including Reading’s Whitley, Church and Norcot wards.

Charities and community organisations can apply for the funds if their new project addresses the mental or physical well-being of women and girls, people with disabilities, black and ethnic minorities or older people, or individual, social or community development.

You can obtain further information from the Get Berkshire Active website, and by emailing Cathy Carr at cathy.carr@getberkshireactive.org or Kirsty Heath at kirsty.heath@getberkshireactive.org. There are two deadlines for application: 16 September 2019 and 25 November 2019.
