Katesgrove Lane and IDR pedestrian underpass clean-up planned for 22 June

The Katesgrove Community Association (KCA) invites community-minded residents to help make Katesgrove Lane, RG1 2ND, look pretty again. They have organised a litter-pick and tidy up near the IDR pedestrian underpass on Saturday 22 June from 10am until 1pm.

The proprietors of the nearby Namaste Kitchen restaurant, in the old Hook and Tackle pub, have promised tea and coffee to the workers. Reading Borough Council will be providing litter-picking equipment, but the KCA has asked people to bring their own equipment if they have any, so that there is enough for everyone.

Email katesgrovecommunity@gmail.com or phone 0118 9372991 for more information. Although the clean-up starts at 10am, you can join in and leave at any point.
