Katesgrove spring jamboree at Waterloo Meadows on 23 March

The Katesgrove Community Association (KCA) has organised a spring into Katesgrove event at Waterloo Meadows for Saturday 23 March.

Tea, coffee and cake will be available, and the spring jamboree will include competitions such as hook-a-duck, wordsearches and a raffle. Ricky Josey will conduct trips to the nearby community allotment.

The Friends of Waterloo Meadows will also be in attendance and Thames Valley Police will be tagging bicycles against theft. Thames Water will give advice about saving water and there will be a ‘seed swap.’

Spring into Katesgrove starts at 2pm at the Waterloo Meadows Children’s Centre, off Elgar Road, Reading. Entry is free, although there will be a cost for entering competitions and for refreshments. Contact the KCA at katesgrovecommunity@gmail.com for more information, or if you would like to help.
