New courses for a new year at New Directions

New Directions, whose main site is on Northumberland Avenue in Whitley, is enrolling new students for part-time adult education courses starting this month, September 2018.

There are over 800 courses on offer, including:

  • vocational and accredited courses, including ICT (information and communication technologies, i.e. computing), business and customer services, early years and teaching assistant, and a new understanding universal credit course,
  • leisure, including arts, crafts, cookery, health and wellbeing, culture and lifestyle, and modern languages,
  • English, maths and English for speakers of other languages (ESOL).
