The new South Reading Community Hub is open!

Reading mayor, Councillor Debs Edwards, opens the South Reading Community Hub on 26 June 2018

The newly refurbished South Reading Community Hub was opened by Reading’s mayor, Councillor Deborah Edwards, on 26 June, with help from the children of the Ridgeway Primary School.

The South Reading Community Hub, at 252 Northumberland Avenue RG2 7QA, includes the Whitley Library, the Whitley Community Development Association (WCDA) social club and café, the Sure Start Whitley day nursery, a large hall with a stage, and many meeting rooms that can be rented out.

The South Reading Community Hub also has a footpath link to the Well Church on Dawlish Road, which has a splendid garden.
