Glass recycling prizes for community groups up for grabs

By Jason Hilbourne.

Community groups could win up to £1000 in a glass recycling campaign prize draw from waste management partnership re3, which runs the Smallmead recycling centre on the A33.

The re3 partnership wants to encourage schools, charities, voluntary and community organisations in Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell local authorities areas to increase glass recycling.

Qualifying groups can enter the prize draw by filling out a form in which they explain how they plan to improve glass recycling over the 12 months of the campaign. The re3 website includes examples of what a group could do, as well as terms and conditions and the application form.
