The burglar alarm that woke Milman Road residents in the early hours of 20 October was caused by a faulty door, said Lloyds Pharmacy manager Liv Johal. No burglary took place.
Liv Johal said that their records show that the alarm went off three times for 20 minutes each time, and she had taken steps to fix the internal problem that caused the false alarm. She added that three keyholders were available to attend the site if the alarm went off again.
“Please pass on my apologies to the residents of Milman Road,” said Liv Johal. “I appreciate how disturbing it is, especially when you are sleeping.”
