The Council needs men from Katesgrove and Redlands!

Reading Borough Council (RBC) is setting up an online citizen’s panel to find out what people think of their services and other issues affecting the town.

The panel needs to be representative of Reading’s population, and to meet this requirement the council are particularly interested in recruiting male residents of Katesgrove, Abbey and Redlands wards aged 16-44.

The council aims to get 1500 unpaid volunteers who will be invited to complete surveys about four times a year on subjects such as council spending and services. The next subject for discussion is likely to be community safety and neighbourhood action groups.

Anybody interested in being considered for the panel, or who justs wants more information, should register online by the extended deadline of 30 September.
