A handmade keyring created and distributed as a memorial to a mother was discovered by a Katesgrove resident on the Christchurch footbridge over the Thames on 11 January.
Many such keyrings were made by Katie Britcliffe in memory of her mother, who died from motor neurone disease. They were created in Surrey but have worked their way around the world and have been discovered in the USA, South Africa and the Caribbean.
On her website, Katie Britcliffe says:
The keyrings originally started as just a way of sharing a little moment of happiness.
The Reading keyring (1386) will be re-hidden and sent on its way to its next adventure.
