The Whitley Neighbourhood Action Group looks for a new name

Whitley’s Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) is looking for a new name, says Alison Afzal, Reading Borough Council’s neighbourhood officer.

The group has also decided, after consultation with the community, that its priorities should be:

  • challenging drug dealing and drug related behaviour,
  • youth provision in South Reading,
  • environmental issues, such as littering and dog fouling.

The next Whitley NAG meeting will be on 26 January 2017 at 7pm at the South Reading Youth and Community Centre on Northumberland Avenue. New members are welcome.

Contact Reading Borough Council’s neighbourhood officer Alison Afzal at alison.afzal@reading.gov.uk for further information.
