Piano man at the Oracle

Shoppers at the Oracle were treated to some impromptu music on Wednesday 6 January when Piano Man Tim took full advantage of the public piano on the upper gallery.

“I’d like to do this full time, ” said pianist Tim Robinson, who comes from Burghfield. “A lot of venues have removed their pianos because the space can be used for a table instead.”

“Some places have replaced real pianos with electronic ones that play recordings. It’s sad when technology takes over from true skill.”

Tim would like to make a CD with tunes of his own and to collaborate with other bands. He can be contacted via Facebook (you need to be logged into your account) or email.
