New local policing priorities for Katesgrove

Reading Borough Council Civic Offices

Traffic problems, drugs and environmental issues have been identified as the new policing priorities for Katesgrove, following the neighbourhood survey earlier this year by Reading Borough Council’s Neighbourhood Initiatives Team.

These new concerns replace speeding, mini motos and quad bikes as Katesgrove’s priorities.

A representative of the neighbourhood policing team attends Katesgrove Community Association (KCA) meetings to report on crime in the local area. KCA meetings are held at 7 pm on the second Wednesday of the month at Katesgrove Children’s Centre, Elgar Road, RG2 0BN.
