New Local Plan for Reading

 

Reading Borough Council Civic Offices

One of the items on the agenda when the Strategic Environment, Planning and Transport Committee of Reading Borough Council meets tonight, 24 November 2015,  is the production of  a new Local Plan for Reading.

The committee meeting is at 6.30 pm in the Council Chamber at the Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU.

The Local Plan will replace three existing plans that form the Local Development Framework: the Core Strategy, Reading Central Area Action Plan and Sites and Detailed Policies Document. It will set out how Reading will develop to 2036.

Public consultation on Issues and Options for the local plan, is expected to take place in the New Year.
